Although not a particularly bright apartment Studio Rue de Rennes has been tastefully renovated and designed with a lot of thought, using the space for maximum comfort.

We had a great 5 days in Paris and the apartment was an excellent location for walking to most things and had a tube station right outside. We loved the atmosphere of St Germaine, especially the Luxembourg gardens and the variety of shops all within a few minutes walk. The apartment is dark and a lot of noise from doors banging from stair door and other residents so more a place to have as a base rather than somewhere to relax. Good area to walk around at night, feels secure.
