Fully renovated in 2011, Apartment Choron is a classic Parisian apartment located in a beautiful 1930s building in the 9th arrondissement, right off the very noteworthy Rue des Martyrs.

The apartment is located in a trendy Parisian district, right between Montmartre and the Opera, close to both the Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps department stores. The famous rue des Martyrs, a food lover’s paradise, is next to the apartment: aside from the supermarket located outside the apartment, there is another second larger one as well as several cheese shops, butchers, wine shops and green grocers. On Sundays, the street is cut off from traffic, making your shopping experience more pleasurable.

The apartment itself is located on the fifth floor (American sixth floor). The main room has a very comfortable double sofa bed (with real mattress), a desk with a computer reserved exclusively for guests, a television with over 55 channels, including several English-language channels, a telephone with free unlimited calls to international landlines including Australia, and a dining table seating two people. The apartment is very tastefully furnished with pieces from Harry Bertoia and Philippe Starck amongst others.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and all the necessary utensils you may require during your stay. Kitchen essentials (oil, salt, pepper etc.) are provided for the guests. The bathroom has both a shower and bath. Luxury brand soaps and lotions are also provided for the guests.

Apartment Choron also makes a great base from which to explore Paris: metro lines 12 (Notre-Dame-de Lorette) and 7 (Cadet) are located close by. The Parisian bike rental scheme (Velib’) also has a station located literally outside the apartment door. Furthermore, both stations, Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, as well as Montmartre and the Opera shopping district are all within a ten to fifteen walk.
